Computer Makes Discovery Independent of Human Creator

A major milestone in computer technology has been passed. A computer made a discovery adding to human knowledge without the help of people. The computer formed a hypothesis and ran tests on it. Human scientists confirmed the results of the discoveries the computer made. While humans did not intervene in the computers 'though process', they did fix technical glitches and add/remove substances.
