Obama and the European participant in negotiating with Iran may be prepared to allow Iran to continue to enrich Uranium during negotiations.
I believe this to be extremely foolish. The Iranians have shown a particular skill/affinity for using the guise of negotiations to run out the clock. This policy would almost condone the practice. While it is true that short of military force the concept of 'allowing' Iran to do something is a bit of a stretch. At the same time, without the policy the continued enrichment process is an indication of bad faith in the negotiation. Certainly when you compare it to negotiations where that action is allowed. It will be much harder to justify the use of force if the Iranians are seen to be in compliance with all of the demands of the US and EU while they run out the clock through drawn out negotiations.
