Economic Reporting During Bush's Presidency vs Obama's Presidency

The coverage is 180 degrees and flipped from what it should be. The recovering economy under Bush was belittled and attacked while the economic downturn under Obama is excused and artificially boosted.

Anyone have a reason for the disparity that does not involve the bias and political ideology of the reporters?
