WHO Declares The Swine Flu a Pandemic

The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared the Swine Flu a pandemic or global epidemic. It is the first flu to be given that classification in more then four-decades. The disease has moved from 'phase 5' to 'phase 6'. Phase 6 is the highest level.

Fortunately, the death rate of the Swine Flu has remained relatively low. That said, it has spread alarmingly quickly and far.
