Iranian Riots Continue

The protests/riots in Iran over the perceived stolen election continues. Students are pleading that Obama not recognize the results for fear of being "doomed"

Ahmadinejad refused to guaranty the safety of opposition leader Mousavi. Serious 'props' to Christiane Amanpour (CNN) for asking those questions right to his face.

There is video of what appears to be riot police beating a person at a minimum unconscious and by some reports to death. You can see the clip at http://hotair.com/archives/2009/06/14/video-iranian-thugs-beat-protester-to-death-in-broad-daylight, but be warned that it is graphic.

In some videos you can see the protesters fighting back, like in this clip where a women kicks a guard before getting nailed with a baton.

Despite what you think would be a unifying issue, as everyone in the democratic world should and does support free and fair elections, some are using the opportunity to take cheap political pot shots. See http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/06/outrage-cbs-meet-irans-george-w-bush.html for more on that.
