Obama Justice Department Orders Mirandizing of Captured Terrorists

This one sentence sums it up pretty well, "Obama Justice Department has quietly ordered FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan". You read that right, we have to Mirandize non US citizen detainees captured and held in foreign countries. That is telling the high value detainees, high value because of the information we could get from them, that they have the right not to tell us anything and to a lawyer.

During the campaign this was a punchline on the right from Palin. Obama mocked the idea that he would do this. Who is laughing now; my guess is the terrorist that gets dragged of the battlefield while plotting and actively trying to kill Americans as the interrogator starts out by telling them they have a right to remain silent and to an attorney at our expense.
