The Justice Department has asked a Judge to drop all the charges against former Senator Ted Stevens. The reason is prosecutorial misconduct. The convictions are thought to have been a significant factor in Stevens Senate race loss. A big question remains, was the misconduct politically motivated. Especially considering it potentially changed the results of an election, this should be investigated.
