Anti-Israel Protest in Union Square (NYC)

Despite the snow, and the cessation of hostilities, there was an anti-Israel protest in Union Square (NYC) today. I did not have any issues with the cops this time around, but almost got clubbed by a flag waver who was not paying attention (you can see this in the videos). All of the photos I took that came out (and were not duplicates) can be seen at http://picasaweb.google.com/BermanPost.com/1192009AntiIsraelProtest# (80 pictures). Below are a few of my favorites. There are some signs in Arabic which could use translation if you can read the language. Just link to the picture in the comment section and type the translation. Some of the videos need translating too. As you can see in the last video, the protesters adopt the same strategy as Hamas; women and children first.

Pictures first, videos below them, and links to past posts on the subject at the bottom.

  1. Note: "Their" should read "There" in the post.

I readily admit that I have butchered the English language when posting on my blog as well.

Okay then. I'm a pro-Israel activist here in the San Francisco Bay Area. On Jan 17th I attended a children's vigil on Union Square at Powell St and Geary Ave. There were 9 of us against a good 150 of the forces of darkness.

Do you know of Al Awda was part of the anti-Israel crowd?

  2. Good call on the "there" in the post. I do not know if they were part of the crowd. I would imagine that any of their members would have attend that could have, but I believe the "Break the Siege on Gaza Coalition" organized the event.

  3. "F" "F" PaleSWINE.

From the River to the Sea,
    PaleSWINE will NEVER BE.

I have yet to see a "peace march" rail against osama bin laden or al qada. Why? Maybe these fifth columnists, these jihadists are on the SIDE of obl and aq.

P.S. Those nutty karta mamzers are not Jews, they're COLLABORATORS, French collaborators.

  4. I don't understand. Isn't that Starbucks still up on the NW corner? How come they didn't ransack it?

  5. Good on you for braving (actually for stomaching) the swarmy San Francisco Civic Center crowd. Were the Anarchists out as usual?

I'm going to join them one day. My sign will read:

    "I HATE"

That should just about cover everything, huh?

  6. karta mamzers...so that's what they're called.

    Wow.

When Jews go batty we really go batty.

I would be glad to offer pro bono Therapy but I'm bound by law to initiate involuntary psychiatric inpatient treatment for suicidal people.

  8. Thankfully, such anti-Israel sentiment barely makes it on the charts as far as public opinion goes. They sure do make a lot of noise. But it is Hamas excusing noise, that has no moral core.
