Not much new to report today; it was just a continuation of the last few days. Israel did announce a cease fire for a few hours to let humanitarian supply s into Gaza. They said that they would do this periodically. Hamas followed suit and said they would not fire rockets during this time. Israel is still blocking most reporters from entering the conflict zone, but they have let a few embed with some of their units.
As an interesting commentary on the pervasiveness of technology, specifically virtual worlds, there have been protests in the Second Life version of Israel. You can read about it at http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2009/01/israel-attack-o.html.
