"According to the state run Iranian news agency Fars, 20 people were hanged in the Rajaee shahr prison of Karaj (west of Tehran) early this morning July 4.

The report also said that "all those hanged were convicted of drug trafficking between 2004 and 2008, and were between 35 and 48 years of age"." (http://iranhr.net/spip.php?article1177). "Drug Trafficking" ... my gut says poor cover. 29 were scheduled (http://iranhr.net/spip.php?article1175).

Mousavi called a US agent (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,530024,00.html). If that were true, he would be in contention for the worse agent ever (http://hotair.com/archives/2009/07/04/iran-mousavi-a-us-agent).

"The most important group of religious leaders in Iran has called the disputed presidential election and the new government illegitimate, an act of defiance against the country’s supreme leader and the most public sign of a major split in the country’s clerical establishment.

The statement by the Association of Researchers and Teachers of Qum represents a significant, if so far symbolic, setback for the government and especially the authority of the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose word is supposed to be final."
