Shoe Thrown at Ahmadinejad

A shoe was thrown at Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Urmia (Iran) as he waved to a crowed in an open top car. The shoe thrower was not found despite security trying to sift through the crowd. Some see this as a bit of karmic irony as Ahmadinejad hailed the journalist that through a shoe at President Bush as a hero. About two years ago the police/government opened fire at protesters in this area. This may be some payback for several hundred protester killed, injured or arrested.
