Chimp Attack Victim Update

Medical information on the extent of the damage done by the chimpanzee which went on a rampage (Berman Post: Chimpanzee Rips Victim's Face Off) have been released. It is fairly horrific. The women lost both her hands, her nose, eyelids, may be blind, her lips, and potentially has brain damage. She is still under sedation in the hospital. The victims brother and conservator is considering legal action on her behalf.

"Hospital officials in Ohio say a Connecticut woman mauled by a 200-pound chimpanzee two weeks ago lost her hands, nose, lips and eyelids and may be blind and suffering brain damage.

The Cleveland Clinic tells The Associated Press that 55-year-old Charla Nash also lost the bone structure in her face when she was attacked on Feb. 16 in Stamford, Conn."
