Did Obama Pledge not to use signing statements? Watch the video and it seems like he did. If that is the case, then Obama broke a campaign promise when he used signing statements on the omnibus bill he signed yesterday (Berman Post: Obama Signs Omnibus Bill).
Someone could try to parse words saying when he used signing statements he was not doing an "end run around congress", but that argument seems very difficult to make convincingly. If anyone wants to try, your welcome to in the comment section.
