A nine year girl was found to be carrying twins allegedly from her Stepfather in Brazil. The 36 kilogram girl (just under 80 pounds) was essentially forced to have an abortion because her doctors did no believe she was capable of holding even one fetus and certainly not two. This in a country were abortion is illegal except in cases of life threatening health risk for the mother or if the fetus has no chance of survival.
It is hard to read something like that and not believe in capital punishment, or at the very least consecutive life sentences with no chance of parole.
