Israel's ambassador to Sweden Ambassador Benny Dagan was hit by a shoe while giving an address to a gathering of students at Stockholm University. The shoe, one of several projectiles hurled at him, struck him in the leg. A book was also thrown at him.
When did it become ok to throw shoes at an invited speaker? Unfortunately, I think this is something that is only going to become more popular until there are serious consequences for the attackers.
