In Ithaca, a protester disrupted a Common Council meeting. He was there to protest the council's position on the wars. After speaking for a while and handing out some literature, he pulled two shoes out of a bag and threw them. No one was hit. He then pulled out a their shoe and asked "Who wants another one?".
A police officer tried to calm him down, and then he asked for his shoes back. When he was denied he said he would not leave. Eventually he was escorted into an ambulance and to a hospital.
