  1. Here we go again, Glenn Beck for people with at least a high school education.

Andrew Klaven, a pulp fiction novelist and a member of the "hollywood elite" that he likes to rail against is upset. So he sets up strawmen, points out the same things people don't like about the tea party in people like Harry Reid, jesse jackson- as if they somehow cancel eachother out-and effectivley creates his own paranoid narrative about Big Brother, the "main stream media" of which he and his brethern are a part of.

In his fantasy you would think the tea party was a left-wing movement (the movements that actually in history have been persecuted and demonized by power and the press, i.e. palmer raids, mcarthyism, the civil rights movement, gay rights, labor rights, women's rights, student's rights) . As if the tea party represents some kind of broad cross section of the U.S. coming together in a libertarian democratic fashion. It's not libertatian, anymore so then "Obama's army" isn't also a top down hieraerachal organization. Instead the tea party, the conservative movement and the republican party are all one and the same controlled and run by Republican Party interests, the same interests that controll the conservative movement and the republican party. Bill O'reilly will throw out stats about the voter registration of the tea partiers, you too will tell me you are not a republican, because you aren't registered as one. But Republican politicians and the interests that control them don't care how you register- they care that come election time they can crank you out to vote so they can enact policies against your interests.

  2. @Ian Spencer Dubrowsky - I think you are wrong about the ideology of the Tea Party Protesters. Also, I am not a Republican because when I registered to vote they were not Conservative/Libertarian.

  3. When you registered to vote, they were corporatist. They still are corporatist- except they have developed an ideology to justify themselves called "conservatism". Besides, who would ever deny being a "libertarian" or having "libertarian" intentions?

  4. @Ian Spencer Dubrowsky - when I registered to vote they were liberal economically. That has since shifted somewhat though I remain an Independent.
