Arrested Iranian Protester Sentenced to Death

An Iranian protester who was arrested has been sentenced to death for his involvement in the Iranian Revolution (GR88). Sure would be nice to have an organization keeping track of these atrocities if we are not going to try to stop them (Berman Post: Obama Administration Cuts Off Funds to The Iran Human Rights Documentation Center). Mohammad Reza Ali-Zamani is the first, but unlikely to be the last.

"The first death sentence has been passed against a defendant accused of involvement in the mass protests in Iran against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's disputed re-election, prompting fears of a wave of executions against opposition activists.

A revolutionary court in Tehran handed the penalty to Mohammad Reza Ali-Zamani, 37, after convicting him of muhabereh – taking up arms against Iran's Islamic system.
