Ask.com For Sale?

The search engine market could be shrinking again as Ask.com (formally AskJeeves.com) appears to be putting itself up for sale. The deal may be worth upwards of four-billion-dollars, and there is no clear immediate buyer. Depending on who buys them (meaning one of the 'big two' remaining), a serious anti-trust movement could pick up steam.

"Hold on to your hats ladies and gentleman, search is about to get smaller again if Barry Diller gets his way. Hot off their earnings call for the quarter, Diller’s IAC has mentioned that they would be open to a sale of their Ask.com search engine."
