Chicago Eliminated in The First Round of Voting to Host 2016 Olympic Games

This is going to look bad. Chicago was eliminated in the first round of voting in the quest to get the 2016 Olympic Games. I thought that if Obama was going than the decision had already been made for fear of the embarrassment of an unsuccessful bid (Berman Post: Obama Stumps for Chicago to Get the 2016 Olympic Games). Not only was Chicago not selected, it was the first to be eliminated; Ouch!
