Google Goes Supersized

Google has 'supersized' its home page. The search box, text, suggestions, buttons... all larger. I do not really get it or see the point. Indeed, I do not really like it. It could be that I am just used to the original. Just trying to let you know your not crazy and do not have to readjust your screen.
