Mark Todd Now Credited With Ending Hasan's Rampage

Initial reports of Police Sergeant Kimberly Munley ending Hasan's killing spree may have been in error. Senior Sergeant Mark Todd is now believed to be the one responsible for bringing the killing to an end. This is not to take away from the 'hero status' of Munley. Anyone that runs toward the gunfire intent on saving lives should be considered a hero. This is just to correct the historical record and give credit where credit is due.

"Senior Sgt. Mark Todd, 42, said in an interview Thursday that he fired the shots that brought down the gunman after Sergeant Munley was seriously wounded. A witness confirmed Sergeant Todd’s account."
