Obama's Defense Cuts Cost 30,000 Jobs

As many as 30,000 jobs may by lost as a result of Obama's defense cuts. I wonder if these losses were calculated into the 'X' million jobs that the Obama administration is 'saving or creating'?

Does anyone know how 'saved' jobs are calculated; anyone?
