Boxers or Briefs, Fort Worth Soldier Edition

When the Taliban attacked a US position in eastern Afghanistan, Army Specialist Zachary Boyd (of Fort Worth) knew exactly what to do. He grabbed his helmet, vest, and gun, then joined his fellow soldiers on the defensive line. This is something that happens every day, but this time was a little different.

Before the attack began, Zachary Boyd was asleep in his quarters. He ran to the line without taking the time to put on his pants. An Associated Press photographer who was behind the line got a unique picture. That is a soldier in a defensive position with his fellow soldiers wearing a red shirt and "I Love NY" boxers.
