Jamaican runner Usain Bolt has set a new 100 meter dash world record with a time of 9.58 seconds. He was running at the World Championships located in Berlin (Germany). American Tyson Gay placed second with a time of 9.71 seconds. Asafa Powell, Jamaica, rounded out the top three clocking 9.84 seconds.
