Google Follows The Advice of The Berman Post?

Long time readers may remember the post Berman Post: Google Has Forgotten About the Gmail Trash Bin/Tab. In it I pointed out that Gmail's Trash Bin had the message "No conversations in the Trash. Who needs to delete when you have over 2000 MB of storage?!". I further opined; "2000 MB (two gigabytes)!?! Google is selling themselves short. They now offer more than 3.5 times more than that. This just goes to show how forgotten the trash bin really is. Who knows, maybe this post will act as a reminder to Google. An update will certainly follow if I notice a change.".

There is now an update to report. A visit to the Trash Bin not has the message; "No conversations in the Trash. Who needs to delete when you have over 7000 MB of storage?!".

So, did Google really follow my advice? In truth, probably not. They have made the change in the last week or two, but only about 55 people have seen that particular post. Is it possible that some Google tech or exec was among those, but chances are they were not. Still, it is possible.
