Stupak Pounded For Accepting Executive Order Compromise

Stupak is being pounded for accepting an executive order as his compromise to try to prevent federal spending on abortion. The criticism is that the order is worthless and will not act as a protection in any meaningful sense.

Video embedded below.

"Rep. Ron Paul (R., Texas), an ob-gyn, tells National Review Online that the Stupak deal is "unconstitutional," along with all other executive orders. "It's an outrage," he says. "Why does the Congress allow the executive branch to write law? Republicans do it, Democrats do it, it's lawlessness. Congress should be curtailing that rather than encouraging it.""
