Not quite on the anniversary of the Cole attack, but pretty close (one day early).
"Masked gunmen fatally shot a Yemeni security official on his way to work at the U.S. Embassy here Thursday.
The drive-by shooting was carried out by a gunman on the back of a motorcycle in western Sanaa as the employee, Qassem Aqlan, traveled to the embassy east of the capital. The attackers immediately fled the scene.
Aqlan, described as in his 50s, had worked for the U.S. Embassy for almost 20 years and had been involved in investigating the storming of the U.S. Embassy compound by protesters last month."
