Video Appears to Show Electronic Voting Machine Changing Vote in Pennsilvania

The clip appears a bit jumpy which may give some cause to skepticism, but the statement to the AP saying the machine was recalibrated after the 'momentary glitch' gives it some credence. It was apparently possible to select Obama, but Romney occupied some of the space over Obama's name. While I have heard reports of 'calibration problems' changing Romney votes to Obama, this is the first video I have found and it shows the opposite.

Pennsylvania seems just intent on being the new 2000 Florida.

Video embedded below.

"A video posted on YouTube at a Pennsylvania polling station allegedly shows an electronic voting machine changing a man’s vote from President Barack Obama to Mitt Romney.

The video, published by “centralpavote,” shows the man pushing the Obama tab on the Perry County machine, but highlighting Romney.

“From the top of Romney’s button down to the bottom of the black checkbox beside Obama’s name was all active for Romney. From the bottom of that same checkbox to the bottom of the Obama button (basically a small white sliver) is what let me choose Obama,” the description stated.

“I asked the voters on either side of me if they had any problems and they reported they did not. I then called over a volunteer to have a look at it,” the engineer said. “She him hawed for a bit then calmly said, ‘It’s nothing to worry about, everything will be OK,’ and went back to what she was doing.”

Department of State spokesman Ron Ruman tells The Associated Press the voting machine has been recalibrated and is back into service after the “momentary glitch.”
