Does it sound to you like the 'Ayes' have it by 2/3 to amend the platform? It does not sound that way to me. This is going to go over much worse than leaving out the language in the first place. Before you could try to argue it was a over site or an error by a few people in the drafting committee. Now it is clear that there is serious opposition in the Democratic party.
Watching this 'sausage' get made looks pretty bad all by itself as well. This is not what democracy looks like...
