It worth mentioning that even with America in a slump, we are still the last best hope of man. While there are a few reasons for American Exceptionalism, without men and woman manning the wall keeping those who would do us harm at bay, the American Experiment would have never gotten off the ground. Take some time to reflect on the men who went toe to toe with the most powerful fighting force the world had ever known and birthed our great nation, and to all those who have taken up the banner since.
Also, if for some reason you have yet to read the Declaration of Independence, take a few minutes and read it now. Even if you have, take some time and read it again.

Record 8,733,461 Workers Now on Federal Disability

In May of this year, there were 142,287,000 people employed, and 8,707,185 workers taking federal disability payments. That equaled 1 worker taking disability payments for each 16.3 people working.
The federal disability payments made to the record 8,733,461 workers in June averaged $1,111.42."
