Bush T-Shirts Outselling Obama T-Shirts at ... Martha's Vineyard

The Bush 'Miss me Yet?' T-shirt is outselling Obama T-shirts at at Martha's Vineyard of all places. That has to be a bad sign for Obama and the Democrats.

"Please let there be a photo op where someone is seen wearing a t-shirt like this.
One barometer of the plunge in excitement has been the sale of Obama-themed T-shirts, which designers had been banking on after the craze of last year. Clothing labeled with the president’s name sold by the thousands, helping to salvage a tough economic year for the island.

But this year’s T-shirt sales are much less brisk, merchants say.

“Last year, Obama gave you goose bumps, but I don’t think you’re going to see that this year,’’ said Alex McCluskey, co-owner of the Locker Room, who sold more than 4,000 “I vacationed with Obama’’ T-shirts last year. But so far this year, he said, his hot item is T-shirts of former President Bush asking, “Miss me yet?’’

Residents have also noticed a drop in the number of stores with Obama posters on their front windows and homes with signs that welcome the first family.
What's remarkable is the Boston Globe even mentioned this and Obama's getting destroyed in the comments.

Marijuana Growers Use Bears to Guard Stash

It turns out the bears were actually incredibly ineffective guards. Assuming they were, how exactly did the growers think that they would get past them to harvest their product? If I can make a blanket statement; the minute your illicit drug use leads to you seriously considering seeking the assistance of a bear ... you missed a few other glaring neon signs that it was time to turn your life around.

"Police said Wednesday they were astonished to find at least 14 wild black bears guarding an illegal marijuana growing operation after a recent raid on the property in westernmost Canada.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Sergeant Fred Mansveld said police believe two growers arrested in the raid had used dog food to lure the animals onto the remote property in southeastern British Columbia, to deter marijuana thieves.

Police commonly find dogs, human guards or booby-traps on Canadian marijuana growing operations or "grow-ops." In comparison, these bears did a very poor job as guard animals when five policemen arrived.

"They were tame, they just sat around watching... at one point one of the bears climbed onto the hood of a police car, sat there for a bit and then jumped off," said Mansveld.

High School Caught Spying on Kids Using School Issued Laptop Webcams Escape Charges

The High School that was caught using laptop webcams to take pictures of their students in the student's home have avoided any charges. The prosecutor found no 'criminal intent'. While not mentioned specifically, I am forced to assume that the school lucked out by not taking any nude pictures of under age children or violating any other strict liability offense.

"But federal and local prosecutors looking into the incident were unable to prove criminal intent on the part of school employees and therefore could not prosecute the case, according to U.S. Attorney Zane Memeger.

"After a thorough review of the evidence in this matter by my office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, the Montgomery County Detectives, and the Lower Merion Police Department, I have concluded that bringing criminal charges is not warranted in this matter," Memeger said in a statement. "We have not found evidence that would establish beyond a reasonable doubt that anyone involved had criminal intent," he added.
...
The allegation brought to light that the district had activated the Webcams on student laptops over a 14-month period through the use of a remote control system. School officials said that the tracking system was set up only to locate lost or stolen laptops, but they soon admitted that the software had stayed active even after a laptop was found. As a result, the program took images every 15 minutes, capturing a total of 56,000 pictures in total, according to the Associated Press.

F*ckTea.com

F*ckTea.com is not some weird fetish website, it is the liberal's latest attempt at countering the Tea Party Protesters. I would bet this one will have even less effect than the others; which would be an impressive feet. The people on the left always complain about the 'lack of civility' from the right. Next time someone makes that accusation, tell them to go ... well; not really. Keep being your respectful self, but feel free to point out where the lack of civility is really coming from.
